He played his first rock concert at the age of 12, supporting a Kiss tribute band. Ultimately all that remained of the band according to Franklin was, “myself, Jimmy Hartridge and some effects pedals”, though Moulder still hez producing a full-length Swervedriver album. We never had anything like that. A lot of it is very bog standard and not really psychedelic at all. It all happened quite quickly and we met up in a pub in London last month and figured out what we’d like to do, which at this point is just heading out and playing some shows again. What are your observations on the soundtrack of today versus the soundtrack of the s?
